With Fintan O'Regan
Understanding neurodiversity is rarely about finding one answer that works for every child.
On 6 October, Infiniti Education Events is bringing leading behaviour, ADHD and neurodiversity specialist Fintan O'Regan to Sittingbourne for two practical sessions focused on helping the adults around children better understand behaviour, engagement and individual needs.
The day will include:
Morning session: SENCOs, teachers, school leaders and education professionals
Afternoon session: Parents and carers
Attendance is complimentary, but places are limited and advance registration is required.

Children move between school, home and the wider world every day.
The challenges they experience do not sit neatly within just one of those environments.
That is why the 6 October event is being delivered as two separate sessions, each designed specifically for its audience.
The morning will focus on supporting professionals working with neurodiverse children and young people in education.
The afternoon will give parents and carers practical insight, strategies and an opportunity to explore some of the challenges they may be experiencing at home and at school.
A practical session for professionals responsible for supporting children and young people with different behavioural, learning and neurodiverse needs.
The session is suitable for:
Fintan will explore practical approaches to understanding and supporting areas including:
The emphasis throughout will be on practical strategies that can be applied in real education settings, rather than theory alone.
Supporting a neurodiverse child can create questions that do not always have simple answers.
This session is designed to provide parents and carers with greater understanding, practical ideas and reassurance around some of the behaviours and challenges children can experience.
Fintan's approach is practical, accessible and grounded in decades of experience working with children, families and schools.

His work focuses on helping people move beyond labels and understand what practical support can make a difference for individual children.
Our previous training with Fintan brought together SENCOs, headteachers, inclusion professionals and families from across Kent and the South East.
Attendees particularly valued being able to take practical ideas back into their schools and homes.
"A very informative session with great analogies that will be useful for CPD with other staff."
"A well-hosted and engaging event. It was valuable to reflect and review different strategies."
From our parent session:
"Really engaging and informative. I've been to a few ADHD sessions and it was great to hear some different information."
The 6 October sessions build on that previous event, while exploring a broader range of challenges surrounding neurodiversity, behaviour and engagement.
